Apple TV???

Rumors that Apple will be building an actual TV set, not just a settop box, have been building for months. And not only does the new Steve Jobs biography suggest that such a device may be in the works, but also an article on AppleInsider says that Apple may already be building prototypes. It was reported earlier that Apple had invested in manufacturing facilities in Asia in order to secure a supply of displays up to 50 inches. And some wonder whether Apple's new data center in North Carolina is intended to stream movies and TV shows — to essentially be an alternative to cable TV.
It seems like a reasonable move. Everything suggests that the delivery of TV is moving to the Internet, and someone will eventually figure out how it will all work together, integrating movies, broadcast TV, the Internet, and one's personal content in the cloud. Who better to figure that out than Steve Jobs?
